WE ARE COMMITTED TO OUR COMMUNITY
Determining where members fall on our sliding membership scale is handled by YMCA branches in a fair and consistent manner. Every Y member receives the same membership benefits, regardless of whether or not they receive financial assistance. Y members can feel confident knowing that they are a part of an organization that cares greatly for the well-being of all people, and is committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
What's a Sliding Membership Scale?
A sliding membership scale is just that--a sliding scale! After someone applies, our Membership Directors look through all the information submitted to determine a new membership rate. We take different things into account, such as household income, difficult circumstances, and other services/programs received. Scroll down to see how to apply & what you'll need for your application!
