Before and After School Enrichment

The Firestone Park YMCA offers Fun Days for when school is not in session, based on the Akron Public School District Calendar for the 2023-2024 school year. Children will be able to participate in a multitude of activities. Registrations are done by paper sign up at the front desk. Please see them for details at your next visit!

If the School District has a 2 hour delay, there will be no morning care. 

Snow days will be offered at the Firestone Park YMCA from 8:30am until 6:00pm.  Prior registration is required via the front desk.

During the summer, children visit many places such as museums, animal parks, science centers, the library, and metro parks, and participate in many other fun filled activities. Campers will build friendships, have unique experiences, and try and learn new things. Children are divided into groups based on their age.
